Hello again everyone!
I’m trying to get as much as I can done before we head back to KC this weekend for a wedding. In a week, I’ve taught myself how to code my inventory into html coding for my blog – which includes downloading and cropping images for my entire inventory, uploading the images and retrieving image source urls – all foreign language to me a week ago. I have to thank Darlene Devries for her help and support on this – because I really do feel she’s helping me be a better blogger and crafter. Showing any support and help is so meaningful to me. In my post yesterday, I created an image supplies list for the first time and I feel so fulfilled to see it work.
Anyway – so I made another card today and it was really fun. I’ve been trying to branch out and use more techniques and products. I’ve done two watercolor projects and wanted to do something different today so I don’t bore my readers/viewers. Stampin’ Up! has a few stencils and I have both sets to date. I decided I wanted to use them today to make this bright and beautiful card.
I used sponging and heat embossing – which I have not done in a video before – mainly because I felt I really needed to have Stampin’ Up! core products to showcase. I recently got the heat tool and all the acrylic blocks so I was really excited to be able to use these new items in this post.
Please see my video for a full tutorial and check out my new supplies list at the end of the post – I’m super excited about it!
