Hi Everyone!
I’ve been feeling under the weather for a few days. I’ve been wanting to make an explosion card for a few weeks now – but I didn’t know how I wanted to embellish it. So at the last minute before bed last night, I made it a shaker card as well. I made a big mistake by not decorating my front panel before creating the shaker portion – so it was too late for me to make it more exciting than it is – but it’s still very much a cute card and I hope you like it!
This is called the Turkish map fold. It’s such a nice way to give a surprise to your card!
How fun is that? It was fun to make and I really think I’ve learned a few lessons from my experience in making this card – decorate front panel, don’t put the sequins in the shaker, assemble the shaker last!
