Hello!
I’ve been wanting to play with my new Copic makers and was holding off until I got them all. Today, I decided to start without having them all and found some great colors that I chose to make this Lila’s Heart card using a set called Lila’s Heart by Simon Says Stamp. Lila is one of my favorite names. For those who don’t know this already about me – I have three beautiful little boys – but my heart has always ached for a little girl. Each and every time I was pregnant, I wished I were having a girl (not fair to my boys, I know – but the heart wants what it wants). I was going to name my youngest, Liam, Lyla if he had miraculously come out a girl :). Yes…I was in denial until the very end. So this set is so dear to me – but it’s also neat because it’s named after Jennifer McGuire’s daughter (she’s a major cardmaking guru).
I’m so happy with how this card turned out despite it being my first experience with Copic markers. I’m convinced now that it’s almost dummy-proof for someone like me. These markers just blend like magic.
I don’t have a fancy rectangle die, so I cut one myself – it’s definitely doable!
Here’s my video. Enjoy!
