Hi, Everyone!

So sorry it’s been a while since I last posted here! I’ve been working overtime and trying to fulfill my commitment with Splitcoaststampers to design cards for the next 5 months. I’m just about done for this month so I thought I’d squeeze this card in for my personal blog. For today’s card, I’m coloring using Copic makers on vellum. It creates very soft colors and is beautiful! There’s not much to it!

I heat embossed my stamped images using some white embossing powder -then flipped it over to color on the back (this keeps the embossed image from ruining  the nibs on your alcohol markers).

I layered it on some white paper to make the colors pop.

I also add some sequins to embellish it – here’s a close up! Isn’t it pretty?!

The border is done using a Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set by My Favorite Things. The only thing I wish I could change is not adding adhesive to the border – which caused it to ripple and warp. It’s still pretty and is something I’ve learned for next time.
