Hi Everyone!
I made a simple sweet 16th birthday card over the weekend with some simple stamping and die-cutting that I’d like to share. I haven’t gotten a chance to stamp much lately. My kids are out of school and it seems like the little energy I have is being sucked out of me. I have poured many many hours over researching watercolors. I spent a lot of time on an excel sheet and staring at Daniel Smith watercolors (once I convinced myself that I wanted them over Winsor & Newton watercolors). I’ll share all that when I am able to take pictures of the set up – they arrive tomorrow!
A neighbor (of course), asked me to make a card so I did. I can’t get too creative these days so I’ve been making cards by request and remaking similar cards to what I’ve done in the past. I don’t get a chance to use Stampin’ Up! stamps too much anymore so it was nice to pull out this stamp set. Just layered stamping here with some sponging in the background in green.
That’s all! Just a quick share. I’ll have a lot more to share once my new watercolor palette is set up. I can’t wait!
XOXO,

Oh, Caly, what a beautiful and perfect sweet sixteen card! It’s such a simple card but carries such a punch of beauty! Yes, I imagine you are very busy with the kids off for the summer, and you are right about busy people getting things done…absolutely! I am eager to learn what you think about the watercolors. I’ve heard good things about both those brands. Sending hugs and love, sweet friend! xoxo
