Hello, Friends!
Seems like it’s been forever – but it’s mostly because I’ve waited three weeks to share this card! I made it for a neighbor and long story short – she finally got it today and I can finally share. Happy anniversary, Stephanie! She’s got the sweetest husband who commissions me frequently for cards – seems like I’ve made more cards for her this year than anyone!
I love bees! I have a tiny bee in a random stamp set but I’ve never seen stamps devoted to bees – so when Honey Bee Stamps released this one, I was super excited. Pretty Pink Posh has a great one too – the set is smaller and so the price is a little better for anyone who is interested. 🙂
I dry embossed some honeycombs on the front panel and cut a window out. Then I lightly sponged the top with some yellow to give the embossing some color.
I stamped and colored the images with my Copic markers then cut them out. Initially, I wanted to make a shaker card, but decided that this window looks beautiful and didn’t need more. I REALLY love this card! Details/supplies will be listed below.
I’ve spent a lot of time in the past few weeks practicing lettering and created a logo and bookmarks for my neighborhood book club. We had our first meeting last week and I really think I’m going to enjoy it! I always want to do too much but this will give me the opportunity to do something fun outside my house. I thought I would share the logo and bookmarks with you:
Nothing too fancy – I just printed them on 65lb cardstock and laminated them :).
I also made baby shower for my soon-to-arrive nephew. I didn’t have much time so I kept it simple:
That’s all I have for now! My boys are starting school on Wednesday and I have a lettering project that I did for a neighbor that I will share next time. Thanks for sticking it out with me! Have a great week!
XOXO,

Oh, sweet Caly, I absolutely love the darling bee card with the beautiful flowers in the frame! I agree that it’s perfect just the way it is rather than a shaker card. And I love how you’ve embossed the honeycomb and sponged it with yellow! I know Lisa loved it, and how dear you are to make so many cards for her. Your work is beautiful! What a sweet baby card, and I LOVE the bookmarks you’ve designed and made. What a beautiful logo! Yes, that’s a wonderful club to be involved in the community! You’ll be a blessing to them, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo
