We are celebrating day 2 of the Lil’ Inker Designs April Release!  First, I’d like to share a card I made using the Spring Wreaths Die Set.

I die cut the two larger wreaths and colored them using various copic markers.  I cut the larger wreath into individual sprigs and used them to make the second wreath bulkier and to give it more interest.

The mom sentiment is from the Best Mom Stamp set from the current release also.

While we’re on the Mother’s Day theme, let’s see the new Best Mom Stamp and Die sets!

Instead of making a full flower, I got inspired to make cornflowers!  I LOVE cornflowers and think they’re so unique!

I stamped the individual petals and glued them together to create the cornflowers.  The background is inked with Salty Ocean distress oxide ink.  The flower center is stamped with Altenew’s Honey Drizzle ink and accented with a brown prismacolor pencil and some gold Wink of Stella.  I die cut this panel using the LID Stitched Rounded Rectangles Die.

I also want to share some tags I made using the new Shaker Tag Die Set and the Hand Drawn Happiness Stamp Set.

I made two shaker tags using these sets.  On the first tag, I sponged the tag using distress oxide inks (Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Viotlet).  One the second, I kept it more simple using copper glitter paper and colored the background using a copic marker (R20).  I wanted to keep the tags simple so I used 3mm clear sequins.
