Welcome back for Day 3 of the LID April Release!  I’m so excited to share my card using one of my favorite sets from this release!

Globes are beautiful…but in the shape of a heart takes it up to the next level!  And these sentiments are seriously the BEST!!!

Oh goodness…be still, my heart.  There are so many things to do with this set and my head spun.  But I decided to keep the colors true – so I stamped the image in Catherine Pooler’s Garden Party ink.  Using a Grass Green Prismacolor pencil, I outlined the image and added shading inwards and where mountains are.  I added some blue for the water areas, but kept that light.

I die cut the word LOVE in gold glitter paper, layered it over a black banner from the die set and added a short and sweet sentiment in black.  I thought the diagonal stripe of cardstock on the left also gave the card more interest.

The final product from this release is the Grad Class 2018 set:

This is a 4-bar sized card since the sentiments are a bit smaller.  I did some tone-on-tone stamping and embossed the stars gold as an accent.

The focus sentiment embossed on a white panel cut out using the Shaker Tags Die Set from this release.  Again, I embossed some gold stars to make the card more cohesive.
