Happy Wednesday!

I colored these cute little Lawn Fawn Ahoy, Matey images and couldn’t stop!  Had to create a card and decided to use Lawn Fawn’s recent Reveal Wheel dies again.

I used Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress ink to ink-blend the Reveal Wheel card front and the card base, then adhered all the images on the card base.  When done, I hand-drew the stitched lines going from the ship to the treasure.

The message “Ahoy, Matey.  Happy Birthday” is revealed when the wheel is turned.

I had to manipulate the word Birthday to get it to curve and fit in the window, but had little trouble with it.  I’m so glad it fit!  These reveal wheel cards are so much fun!  I hope you’ll give it a try!  You can make these with simple rectangle-cut paper and circle dies/punches if you don’t have this die set.  YouTube is a great resource!  I just love this Lawn Fawn die set because it cuts out all the fuss.  Except I did LOTS of fussy cutting on those images – but I don’t mind bc I’m so used to it and I’m quite the perfectionist when it comes to fussy cutting images.
