Caly Person

Hi Friends!  We’re still fresh and excited with the Hello Bluebird July Release.  I’m sharing a card I made using the Otter Friends stamp set and the Pond Builder Dies.

I colored the stamped images using Copic markers: E50, E31, E35, Y15, YR16, YG06, G05, G19, R14, R29.  I fussy cut the images and then added white highlights with my Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.

I then used the pond builder dies and die cut the water panel, grass, and bush.  On the water panel, I used Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean distress oxide ink.  I added some water splatters and used a little wave die to cut through that panel so I could lay an otter in it.

On the grass and bush, I used the coordinating ink to add some color to the paper.  For the card base above the water, I did some light ink-blending using Brushed Corduroy distress ink.

I love that little otter on his back! Once I adhered all the images in its place, I added some more white highlights to the waves.  I hope you enjoyed this card!  I’m sure these otters will be on another card in the future!
