Hi there!

I’m sharing a card uses Pretty Pink Posh’s Birthday Friends stamp set and the Stitched Photo Frames die set.  I thought it would be fun to use the window frames for dimension.

I started out by die cutting these frames and outlining the inside of the windows with a light pencil mark so I could ink blend the insides without going outside the frames too much.  I used Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Tattered Rose. Then I lightly ink blended some Broken China distress ink in the remaining white space towards the center.  Once they were blended on, I added some water splatters for texture and propped the frames over their designated spaces using 3M foam tape.

I stamped all the images in a copic-friendly ink and colored using Copic markers.

Copic colors used:  C1, C5, C8, BG0000, B00, G00, BG32, V000, V01, R00, R20, Y13, R14, R29, E50, E21, E21, E34, E35, E07, E09, E17.

Once colored, I added some white highlights/details using my Sakura Gelly Roll pen in white.  To complete the card, I embossed the sentiment in white over some black cardstock and covered up more of the white space toward the bottom of the card.

I love the colors on this card.  I added some bold colors for the little boy and was worried it wouldn’t work, but I think it ended up being ok.
