Hello!
I decided to make an extra card for Hello Bluebird this month because I couldn’t resist not using some of the other sets that I got. I love holly plants – so this Holly and Pine die set was screaming for me.
I started by die-cutting the various images using colored cardstock (Old Olive, Garden Green, Soft Suede, Real Red), and ink sponging the edges in coordinating ink to give it some depth and dimension.
I lightly inked the background using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and embossed the sentiment from the ‘Tis the Season mini stamp set in gold glitter embossing powder, then layered the pines, pine cones, and holly pieces at the top in a spray.
For some added interest, I added some white highlights and Wink of Stella to the holly leaves and berries for extra sparkle. Then I finished off the card with some Sparkling confetti sequins. Hope you like this very simple card!
XOXO,
