Hello! Thanks for joining me today for Pretty Pink Posh’s January Product Release Blog Hop! We’re also celebrating Pretty Pink Posh’s 5th Birthday! There are promotions and giveaways, so be sure to read the information provided below :). To celebrate PPP’s birthday, I created a shaker card using products from the new release.
The new Celebrate Shaker is perfect for today’s celebration and I decided to pair it with the new Cupcake Critters set. I stamped and colored the cute critters/cupcakes using Copic markers (G00, BG11, BG34,RV11, R83, R85, Y00, Y18, E50, E21, E23, W0, W2, C0, C2, R00, R20).
After die-cutting, I added white gel pen highlights to the images and Wink of Stella clear shimmer to the frosting on the images. Then I set the images aside to work on the shaker and card front. The shaker die is cut using white glitter cardstock. For the card front, I ink-blended Distress Oxide inks in Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass (a combination of the two colors blended together creates the beautiful teal color you see above), and Spun Sugar. For the shaker portion, I ink-blended Shaded Lilac directly to the cardbase.
I added some water splatters before adding new sequin mixes from this product release: Valentine Confetti Mix and Sugar Plum Confetti Mix. The entire cardfront is applied to the card base using foam adhesive to create the shaker portion on this card.
