Hello again!
I’m sharing a card I made for my first publication ever – for the Die-Cutting Essentials Magazine (45th edition). I represented Pinkfresh Studio for this publication and featured the Fancy Floral dies. For my card today, I used the Fancy Floral 2 die – it’s a layering die set and this is the top layer that’s got more detailed flowers.
I started by die-cutting the Fancy Floral 2 die on white cardstock and colored them with various Copic markers (V00, RV11, R83, B91, B45, YG61, G21, Y11, Y32). Using gold glitter cardstock, I also cut a frame to create a sparkly border.
I adhered some acetate to the back of the colored die-cut panel to create a shaker. On a white cardbase, I masked off the border and ink-blended Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks and splattered some water for the background.
I added foam adhesive to the panel and added clear sequins for the shaker portion. After adhering the top panel to the ink-blended cardbase, I embossed the sentiment from the Word Series: Believe stamp set on black cardstock using white embossing powder.
To continue the sparkling gold, I added a strip of gold under the black sentiment strip. This is s special card for me and I hope you enjoyed it!
