My Favorite Things – Snow Globe Greetings Card Kit – Merry Kissmass

Welcome back for another countdown to the next My Favorite Things card kit! The kit will be available tomorrow at 10am EST!

I hope you’re excited! Today, I’m creating a more traditional mistletoe-themed card.

I die-cut some mistletoe branches in Gumdrop Green and Jellybean Green card stock, berries in Wild Cherry card stock, and the bow in Silver Sparkle card stock – all of which are included in this kit. After adhering them together, I added some white gel highlights on the leaves and berries, then set it aside to work on the card panel.

Using Kraft card stock, I ink-blended some white ink towards the top center of the panel to create my glow. Then using some watered-down white acrylic paint, I splattered the panel to give it additional interest and to mimic snow.

The sentiment is stamped with dark brown ink and to finish my card, I added clear lacquer to my berries. I hope you like this clean design! Please join me back here tomorrow for the final card as we kick off this month’s card kit release!
