We’re two days away from the MFT release! Today, we’re counting down with two new Birdie Brown sets: Roll Model and Friends Forever. These special stamps feature a boy and a girl in wheelchairs. I love that MFT is versatile this way and represents both genders.
I used both sets today to create a double slider card to help these images slide together and make my card interactive. The Double Slider Loop Slots Die-namics makes it super easy to do!
I stamped and colored my images with lots of Copic markers before die-cutting and adding white gel highlights to my images. To create my background, I ink-blended Tumbled Glass with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks. Then I die-cut a platform for my images using a Stitched Basic Edge die and ink-blended it with Weathered Wood Distress Oxide.
I used my Double Slider Loop Slot to die-cut my slots on my ink-blended A2-sized panel to create my mechanism. The pull tab is a strip of cardstock cut to 1/2″ wide and I used the Interactive Labels stamp set to stamp the word “pull.”
Then I used two acetate strips to attach to my sliding mechanism and placed the platform piece over my mechanism to hide it. The final step was to add my characters and the sentiment. When the pull tab is pulled, the images come together!
I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you again tomorrow!
