Hi, Friends!

I have exciting news to share! I’ve joined the Ellen Hutson Ambassador (that’s a fancy word for design team member, hehe). I’m sharing my first official project today and will be sharing at least one project a month with you using Essentials by Ellen products.

I love the large Mondo flowers from Ellen Hutson and this Chrysanthemum set is gorgeous! I haven’t used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in a while and decided to use them on my card today.

Colors used:
Pale Pink, Peach Pink, Pale Rose
Light Green, Green, Deep Green

I embossed my images over Bristol Smooth cardstock and applied color in the corners and edges and drew the color out with a damp brush. After coloring, I die-cut my images and sett them aside to work on the background.

I ink-blended my background with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink and arranged my images over it – adding foam adhesive to my flower to give it dimension. Then I finished my card by adding an embossed sentiment from the That Thing You Did set and some Crystal Clear Hearts.
