My Favorite Things – Color Challenge #135 – Rain or Shine

I’m participating in my first MFT Color Challenge! I must admit – color challenges are…umm…a CHALLENGE for me. I have a particular color palette that I like to stick to and visualizing a card using different colors is difficult for me but I made one for this one and I hope you like it because it’s very foreign to me!

I flipped through my stamp bin and stopped at the Rain or Shine set bc I knew I could use the colors from this week’s swatch for all the images on this stamp set.

I used Copic markers to color my images and die-cut them to work on my background. The background is ink-blended using coordinating colors of MFT ink and made the clouds using the Cloud Stencil.

Copic colors used: B0000, B00, E00, E01, E04, E53, E35, E27, E29, C2, C4, RV13, RV14, RV23, RV25, RV29, YG11, YG13, YG17, Y35, Y38, Y000, Y02, R20

I didn’t use much the Coral Crush color on my images so I decided to use that color for my sky. All of my images are attached with foam adhesive for dimension and stamped my sentiment on the card at the bottom using Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink.
