Hi, Friends! We’re kicking off the countdown until the next MFT release and I’ve got two fun cards to share with you today using new GNOME products!

My first card features the Gnome Place Like Home Die-namics. This is a paper-piecing set so I’ve created a simple card with just the dies and a sentiment from the Hanging with My Gnomes stencil. After die-cutting all the pieces using MFT cardstock, I ink-blended to add shading using MFT dye inks. I did use Y11, Y25, and N5 to add some shading and color to my windows and rock above the doorway too.

I adhered some pieces with foam adhesive to give them dimension and others directly where they go with liquid adhesive. My background is ink-blended with Distress Oxide Inks (Mowed Lawn, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves). To finish, I added some white gel highlights and glitter glue to the flowers after stamping my sentiment at the bottom of my card.

My next card is created from the adorable Hanging with My Gnomes stamp and die set. I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. I used so many this time that I didn’t write them down, sorry!

After die-cutting all my images, I realized I needed a bigger canvas to work on so I created a slimline card. The total dimensions are 4″ x 8.25″. I ink-blended my background with Mowed Lawn, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks and splattered it with some water for texture before attaching my images.

I started first by stamping my sentiment at the bottom center of my card to make sure that I didn’t run out of room before adhering all the images. I made my gnome house the center and then worked by fanning out the rest of the images.

Many of my images are attached with foam adhesive to give more dimension. To finish, I added white gel highlights to make all the images pop.
