My Favorite Things – 2 Days Until the New Release – Mother’s Day Bouquet

Hello again!

Are you ready for another MFT release countdown? There are 2 days left before the release goes live on Tuesday at 10am EST!

My card today features the Mother’s Day Bouquet set and one of 4 new masking stencils from MFT! I honestly don’t make a lot of Mother’s Day cards for personal reasons – so I used a happy birthday sentiment instead.

I colored my image and set it aside as I used the Rectangles Extraordinaire stencil to mask and ink-blend a frame using Distress Oxide Inks (Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves). I splattered before lifting my stencil to give the framed area more texture. Then I stamped my sentiment and attached my image using foam adhesive.
