One of my favorite things about Lawn Fawn is their clever interactive dies. If you love them to, now’s your chance to create and play along with the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! We’re making interactive cards. I know it can be somewhat intimidating, but they really are so much fun to make and are so rewarding to see the end product.

I think I created a huge task with all the masking and lining up of things for today’s Car Critters Reveal Wheel card! Usually, reveal wheels share an open window at the top of the card, but I had to do some manipulation to set my car at the bottom of the card and stamped the critters opposite of how they should be on the reveal wheel to get them to show up properly. If you’ve ever used the reveal wheel, you’ll know what I mean. If you haven’t, disregard what I just said and I’m sorry for any confusion! 😂😂😂

This card is really for my husband. He loves evergreens and it is his dream to be able to travel and sight see. We’ve spent the last (almost) 17 years of our time together going through school and raising children and hope to be able to do this soon. We feel so inexperienced with travel! He’s also an obnoxious loud-music listener in the car 😬😬😬. Most of the time, I prefer the quiet to talk and be able to hear the children!

I had a good idea of what I wanted to do for my card, so I dug around and found all the sets I wanted to use for this card, stamped out the images and colored them with Copic markers.

Copic markers used:
Bears:  R20, E41, E42, E43
Car:  C00, C0, C2, C5, C8, R22, R24, R27, R39
Clouds:  B0000, B000, B01
Sun/Car Lights:  Y11, YR23
Trees:  E33, E35, E39, [G12, G14, G07], [G21, G24, G28]

I die-cut the Reveal Wheel front twice. Once for the sky portion and another for the road/grass portion. The Stitched Mountain was also die-cut using the Reveal Wheel, but only to get the stitch patter on the sides and cut the opening fo the actual wheel. I ink-blended the sky portion with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. For the ground, I masked off an area for the road and ink-blended it lightly with Black Soot. Then on the sides, I ink-blended Mowed Lawn for the grass.

I love the different windshield “scenes” for these bears! I think them kissing is my favorite! Before attaching my top panel, I stamped my sentiment and music notes. Once my reveal wheel and background panel were in place, I attached all my images and tucked them in place to create my scene.
