Hello Friends!
It’s been a while since I’ve shared something from Pinkfresh Studio, but I had to create with the Infinite Blooms set that my friend Emily Midgett illustrated! I’m loving these stamp, die and layering stencil coordinating products.
For my card today, I wanted a soft look, but not quite no-line as the image is more detailed. So I stamped with a light brown hybrid ink after die-cutting to give the image a soft look before ink-blending. I worked with one layered stencil at a time, using multiple colors if I needed to, to give my flowers and foliage lots of contrast. I blended larger areas with a blending brush, and then added details with a finger dauber.
When I was happy with my image, I began on the background first with a blank white pie of paper that I ink-blended with the same pink inks I used on the flowers. Then I layered my card by layering it with white panels die-cut using the Fancy Oval Frame and Simply Diamonds die.
Ink Colors Used:
Pink Flowers: Raspberry Bliss, Ballet Slipper
Purple Flowers: Regal Bliss, Soft Lilac
Center: Sweet Mustard
Blues: Seaside, Summer Shower
Greens: Evergreen, Key Lime
I attached the Simply Diamonds panel directly on my ink-blended background, then adhered the oval and floral spray with foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension. I then embossed my sentiment in gold over white cardstock and attached it in the upper left had corner over the oval frame just a tad for balance. I finished by adhering some white iridescent jewels on the card.
