Hey there!

Altenew has a new stamp/die/stencil release today! I’m sharing a card made using the Dazzling Dahlia set. This release is filled with wonderful products so be sure to check out the Altenew Blog to get more inspiration from today’s blog hop!

I began by embossing my Dazzling Dahlia images over white cardstock using Obsidian Ink and clear embossing powder. Next, I added color using the Dazzling Dahlia Stencils and dye inks from Altenew (Hunter Green, Yellow Ochre, Rubellite, and Purple Wine).

After die-cutting, I arranged my images over a piece of gray cardstock. I adhered the leaves directly onto the gray panel and adhered the dahlia using foam adhesive for dimension. Using my trimmer, I cut off the excess overhang. Then, to give my card more interest, I splattered the panel with white paint and gold metallic paint.

I finished by stamping my sentiment using Obsidian ink. It’s a simple card, but I hope you like it! I appreciate you stopping by and hope you’ll enjoy the inspiration along the way on this blog hop!
