Hello there!

Last week, I mentioned that I was playing with new techniques using background cling stamps. Today’s card uses the Delicate Outline Flowers cling stamp – another favorite of mine!

For this card, I stamped and colored my image with Copic markers.

Flowers:  RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29
Grays:  C3, C6, C8
Greens:  [G40, G43, G46], [YG11, G03, G09], [YG11, YG06, YG09]

What makes this card unique for me is the splattering once I was done coloring. I used isopropyl alcohol to help it reach with the Copic ink. Gave it some fun reactive texture like water does on Distress inks! I also splattered it with pink paint to give it more texture before cutting the panel with a rectangle die to give it black frame by matting the smaller rectangle with a piece of black cardstock.

I finished with a sentiment strip from the Reverse The Best Friends set and a Friends die (I cut off the “s”).
