Today’s project uses the Dogwood Bleeding Heart cling stamp from the latest Simon Says Stamp release. I love the combination of both the dogwood and bleeding hearts!

I stamped the image with black pigment ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder to get a crisp image. Then, I colored with Copics. I apologize, I don’t have the Copic combinations. I colored this while on vacation and put the markers away before I wrote the color combinations down. However, I believe the dogwoods were R81, R83, R85, and RV09.

After I finished coloring, I ink-blended around the image with Celery ink to give the background some soft color. For the dogwood centers, I added some glitter gel for interest. To give my image some extra texture, I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the images.

To finish, I stamped an embossed a sentiment from the Here For You set, which comes with coordinating dies.
