Hi there, friends!

I have another card today using products from the latest Simon Says Stamp Out of This World release. Today’s card features the Citrus Slices die. I’ve paired it with some Windswept Leaves to create a colorful background.

I die-cut the Citrus Slices with white cardstock and colored each slice with Copic markers to add color. This allowed me to color the slices to create lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruit-colored slices.

Lemons:  Y11, Y15
Oranges:  Y38, YR18
Grapefruit:  RV32, RV34
Lime:  YG01, YG17
Citrus Core:  YR30

For the texture on the fruit, I colored the wedges with a light color, then chose a darker color to flick towards the center to imitate pulp. I also used a white gel pen to add additional color and texture.

I added light green and dark green Windswept Leaves to a white background panel before adhering my Citrus Slices with 3D foam square to add dimension. Then, I finished with a sentiment from the You Shine set.
