The August 2023 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is here!

It’s always much anticipated and I have two cards to share.

The ink colors I used for both cards are the same: Blush, Melon, Aspen, Ocean, and Midnight (linked below). The rainbow card has additional Sunbeam for the stars.

My first card uses the Margot Tile Embossing Folder. I embossed the folder over white cardstock and used two strips of scrap cardstock to mask each row of tiles to ink-blend. Then for the center, I used stamps from the Retro Wishes stamp set.

My second card is stamped using the Retro Wishes stamp set. I used the same colors as in my first card. I stamped the sentiment right under the stamped rainbow.

I matted my card with a piece of patterned paper that’s included in card kit from Pinkfresh Studio’s Lovely Blooms Paper.
