Hi friends!

The Gina K. Designs August release is here! I’m sharing a card using the Wonderful Watsonia set. I had to Google this flower – at first glance, I thought it was a plumeria.

I tried to give it a lot of texture by coloring with a combination of pinks and yellows in both Copic markers and Polychromos colored pencils.

Polychromos:  Cadmium Yellow, Pink Carmine

Copics:  

• Pinks:  YR000, YR01, RV10, RV11, RV13, R89
• Greens:  YG06, YG09, YG17

My card is 5″ x 7″ and I used the Master Layouts 8 die set to add the stitched border. This die set also comes with a strip die, which I used to add additional color to my background.
