Hello there!!!
We have some birthday shoutouts today!! Happy birthday to Heidi Crowl, my boss and owner of Simon Says Stamp, and happy birthday to my special friends, Beth Opel and Laura Bassen! I think it’s so fun that they share a birthday!
Today’s card is so cute – I just love adorable Halloween images! Halloween cards aren’t my niche, but I love when the images are cute!!

- SSS Trick or Treat stamp/die
- SSS Too Sute to Spook die
- SSS Web Stencil
- SSS Purple Fields Ink Cubes
- Inks: Lemonade, Citrine, Violet, Galaxy, Flannel, Earl, Charcoal
- Cardstock: Lavender, Glossy Black
I created my background by ink-blending the Web stencil over lavender cardstock. I splattered it with black and white paint to give it interest and texture. Then I die-cut the Too Cute to Spook die using vellum and Black Glossy cardstock.
The images are from the Trick or Treat stamp/die set. I stamped them with colored ink, but also tried to make them interesting with some shading by using a darker color of ink and dabbing it on the stamp with a finger dauber.
