Hello there!

I’m sharing a cute card today using the Whimsy Stamps Panda Butt set (that name!). Whimsy Stamps recently released coordinating No-Fuss Masks with their stamp sets. These no-fuss masks are great for scene building when you prefer not to spend money on die-cutting. I don’t do a lot of masking (because of fussy-cutting), but these masks make it too easy!

I was able to stack the three panda images and mask them to create a seamless image. While they were masked, I stamped the bamboo images and ink-blended! I found that the masking paper was strong, but lifted away easily without tearing up my paper – LOVE!

I added some colored pencil detail to my bamboo and colored the pandas easily with a few Copic markers (C1, C3, C5, C7, R30, R21). I added some pearls for their eyes and added stitching detail around the border. This would’ve been a one-layer card if I hadn’t trimmed my sentiment strip to adhere with foam adhesive. So fun!
