Welcome to the Altenew October 2023 Marvelous Monthly Release Blog Hop! Be sure to check out the Altenew Blog where today’s celebration begins! My card today uses the new Build-A-Garden set called Blushing Magnolia.

These images are large. As you can see in the above photo, there are two card sizes. The one on the left is 5″ x 7″ and the one on the right is 4.25″ x 5.5″. I stamped and ink-blended two images thinking I could use them on one card, but ended up making two cards.

I always emboss images with clear embossing ink to keep my lines crisp before ink-blending.

After ink-blending, I added some details with some colored pencils.

Both backgrounds are ink-blended with Distress Oxide Inks using Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Seedless Preserves.

I splattered both panels with white paint to give them additional texture before finishing them both off with sentiments from the Blushing Magnolia stamp set.
