Simon Says Stamp has done it again with another coordinating die for a Tim Holtz set! This time, it’s for the Easter set, Mr. Rabbit. I love the textured stamps on this set and used it in the background.

I turned my Mr. Rabbit into a miss by adding some eyelashes and a pink bow. I did have to trim his suit off, but I really wanted to use easter eggs and jelly beans, which are die-cut from the Bunny Butt set. To start, I stamped the Mr. Rabbit image over watercolor cardstock using a no-line coloring ink. Then I watercolored the image and also watercolored over a scrap panel of watercolor paper for the eggs and jelly beans.

On a piece of Cream cardstock I stamped some patterns with Antique Linen Distress Ink and embossed the polka dot background. Around the perimeter of the cardstock, I used the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser tool to shred the edges.

I applied some double sided tape at the bottom to adhere a bed of moss. Next, I attached Mr. Rabbit and then I filled the remaining area over the moss with the die-cut eggs and jelly beans. To finish, I stamped a sentiment from the Bunny Butt set.
