Hello!
Today’s card is a shaker card that showcases the three new ink colors from Simon Says Stamp’s Be Bold release. Trio 28 is a set of three ink pads that include the colors Clay, Terracotta, and Brick.
I used the Alessa Background stamp to apply color using a sponge-tip applicator in order to create a gradient. The pattern is kaleidoscope-like, so I added the lightest color at the centers of each “burst”. Next, I added the medium color and fanned it out to the darkest color.
I used the new Terracotta sequins to fill up the shaker pouch I created (by wrapping cellophane around the panel) and embellished the front of the shaker with the new Whirl Blossom dies. I ink-blended the more solid flower with the new inks too. The sentiment is from the new Mamacita set, which is filled will great mom nicknames!
