Hello there!

I have a sweet birthday card to share today! These products are from the Simon Says Stamp Celebrate release. The Organic Leaves stamp is a 6 x 6 clear stamp. Do you prefer clear over red rubber?? Just curious!

I did a faux-watercolor look using the Organic Leaves stamp by applying two different colors of ink (cabbage and Artichoke), spritzing it with water, and then stamping over some Bristol Smooth cardstock. I also splattered it with some watered-down Artichoke ink to give it texture. Next, I die-cut some Whirl Butterflies in white and ink-blended them with Taffy and Blush ink. I also splattered the butterflies with watered down Taffy ink to give it more interest and texture.

I finished my card with sentiments from the Birthday Mail Sentiments. You can’t really tell from the photos, but the word birthday is foiled in gold. I also added a few clear confetti sequins from the Starshine Embellishments.
