Hi friends!

Have you ink-blended in colored cardstock before? I can’t remember the last time I did it, if ever. I decided to go easy on myself and use a lighter, more neutral color. Fog cardstock is a light “greige” and is a great cardstock color.

To start, I had to ink-blend ALL the layers of the Floral Whimsy stencil set over the colored cardstock using white pigment ink. The pigment ink gives the colored cardstock a white base to take any dye inks that you ink-blend over the colored cardstock it’s original color (or very close to it).

There are four layers to the stencil set and the above photo shows you what that looks like with only the white pigment ink used. Next, I ink-blended the layers with my chosen ink colors.

I added a Rose Gold Metallic A2 Nesting Frame to add interest and finished with a sentiment from the All About You set.
