Hi Friends!
I’m sharing two projects using the Simon Says Stamp June 2024 Card Kit today. It’s a fun birthday-themed kit! I made a buildable rainbow cupcake using the Sweet Birthday stamp and Sweet Birthday Treat die. There are TWO other die sets that coordinate to complete this set (Sweet Birthday More Treats die and Sweet Birthday Words die), so be sure to add it to your cart with the kit, if you’re interested!

I started by stamping and coloring the images with Copic markers.
Reds: R21, R22, R24
Oranges: YR01, YR02
Yellows: Y11, Y17
Greens: YG06, YG09
Teals: BG10, BG11, BG13
Blues: B000, B00, B01, B04, B06
Purples: V01, V04, V09
Pinks: [RV10, RV11], [RV02, RV04, RV93]
Browns: YR30, YR21, E34
Grays: T0, T2
For the background, I used Distress Watercolor Pencils from the kit and added a few colors from my own stash to stamp on some confetti. I used a Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangle to cut the panel out for interest and matted it over a piece of Doll Pink cardstock, and then over a piece of patterned paper from Pinkfresh Studio’s Picture Perfect collection (both are a part of the card kit)
To finish, I used the Birthday Wishes die and die-cut it from Holographic Lava cardstock and vellum. I have to admit, I haven’t used holographic cardstock much, but I love the way it makes this sentiment look!
