Hi friends!

I have a quick card to share using the Fintastic Friends set from My Favorite Thing’s latest release. These images are adorable and I had to color them this morning.

I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers. To add texture, I used the darkest color of a trio and added dots to areas where I wanted color (rocks and mermaid fins). For the background, I used the Watercolor Wash Rectangle Stencil and ink-blended Salvaged Patina and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. Then to add some sun rays, I used the MFT Sunny Rays Stencil. This stencil is retired, but something similar you can use is the Sunray Background Stencil from Lawn Fawn. I ink-blended this layer with Peacock Feathers and blended it into the Mermaid Lagoon at the botoom.

I splattered the panel with water and White paint to give it additional interest. Then to finish, I stamped a sentiment, then attached the images with 3D foam squares.
