Hi there, friends!
Today’s shaker card uses the Tulip Stem die. The shadow die is used to die-cut the shaker window and the tulip die is used to create a frame/outline for the top of the shaker window.
I began by stamping and embossing the Delicate Floral Mandala over white cardstock. I embossed the panel with clear embossing powder and ink-blended a rainbow around the panel for an emboss-resist look. Then, I used the shadow of the Tulip Stem die to center over the panel and die-cut the window. Adding acetate on the back, my shaker window is ready.
For the tulip background, I used the Tulip Stem Stencil set to ink-blend the tulip on the cardbase. to make sure the line-up was perfect, I used the negative of the Tulip Stem die to position once the rainbow panel was placed over the top of the cardbase. I then filled the shaker with embellishments from the Girl’s Best Friend mix. The sentiment is cut from the Reverse All the Love strips. To finish, I added a few more sequins on the top of the card.
