Hello there!
I’m sharing a shaker card today using some new summer products from the Sunny Vibes release! The Beachcombing set is a layering stamp set with all the classic beach/ocean icons and has foiling coordinating products that will help you create the look you’re after. Be sure to check out the Beachcombing Foil Transfer Cards and Acetate Beachcombing Foil Transfer Cards that coordinate with the Beachcombing set. My card today uses the Acetate Seashells Foil Transfer Cards to make a shaker window, after foiling with gold foil.
I used the Wonky Concentric Circles stamp for the background. I used Distress Inks in
Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Wilted Violet to stamp over watercolor paper and spritzed it with water for a faux watercolor look. After trimming down this panel, I had just enough room to wrap the Acetate Seashells Foil Transfer Card around it to make a shaker envelope to add Dusk and Summer Blooms embellishments to.
The front of my shaker includes a sentiment and starfish that I stamped from the Beachcombing set. The Small and Large Sand Dollars are die-cut from Ivory Cardstock and ink-blended lightly with Latte ink. To add some interest, I added “fuzzies” using a brown colored pencil.
