Hello!

My card today is entirely ink-blended and I hope you can see that you can can add lots of color and interest by doing just that! Today’s card features four products from the Simon Says Stamp Sunny Vibes release: Exquisite Hummingbird, Divine Peony, Just Breath (sentiment), and the Tin Roof stencil (background).

I die-cut the Exquisite Hummingbird and Divine Peony pieces with white cardstock and ink-blended them with Pawsitively Saturated Inks to add color. You can always start with colored cardstock as the base, but with lots of colors and pieces like this, starting with white is easier to get all the pieces in one pass through the die-cutting machine. From there, ink-blending does all the work (with the exception of the beak and eyes, which I used Copic markers for.

The background uses the Tin Roof Stencil and I ink-blended a gradient of colors using the teal, blue, and greens that I used on the die-cuts. I ink-blended lightly for a soft background before adhering the peony and hummingbird. To finish, I added a sentiment that is stamped, embossed, and die-cut from the Just Breath stamp and die set.
