Simon Says Stamp – Crimped Blossoms

Hi friends!

Today’s card uses Distress products and a few newer products from the Simon Says Stamp Cheering for You release.

I started by ink-blending a white panel with my favorite Distress Oxide Inks in Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Seedless Preserves. Next, I spritzed it with water to give it some texture. Then I placed it inside the Crimped Blossoms Embossing Folder and ran the ink-blended panel through the die-cutting machine. I used a Distress Sanding Disc to sand away the top surface of the embossed panel to bring back some details from the raised edges of the embossed panel.

To give the panel additional interest, I spritzed it with Distress Spritz using Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, and Wilted Violet. I also die-cut some foliage stems from the Arching Leaf Border die and spritzed it with Twisted Citron Distress Spritz. To finish, I used the Cheering set to add a die-cut sentiment as well as an embossed sub-sentiment.
