Hi friends!

I have two cards to share and one was completely out of spare parts from the first. The Arching Leaf Border die creates a beautiful half frame and also die-cuts loose leaves. To make my cards, I ink-blended two panels (to cut two frames for one card). I used the extra space on my ink-blended panels to also die-cut the loose foliage. I thought I would tuck the loose foliage here and there to make the frame fuller, but didn’t find it necessary so that’s how the second card came to be.

I added the green, orange, and pink inks to white A2-sized panels in random areas until they were covered in ink before using them to die-cut the Arching Leaf Border dies. I also die-cut 3 sets of Iceland Poppies and ink-blended them with the same orange and pinks.

For this first card, I used the green sage ink to stamp Old Letter on a background and then ink-blended it with the same color around the outer edges before attaching the Arching Leaf Border to one side, then flipped the frame for the other side.

I added the Iceland Poppies to the corners of the frames and finished the card off with a gold-embossed sentiment from the Just Breathe stamp set.

For my second card, I used all the loose foliage from the Arching Leaf Border dies because I didn’t want them to go to waste. I ink-blended a pink panel for the background and did the same with Old Letter on a background, but using the orange ink (it’s a lot lighter on this panel). To give the foliage dimension, I attached each leaf with 3D foam squares.

I used All About You for the sentiment and added three Iceland Poppies to this card too.

Both cards are splattered with gold ink as well as some Peeled Paint Distress Spritz for interest.
