Today’s STAMPtember® collaboration is with Hero Arts! The Celebrate Flowers set has beautiful floral stems and sentiments to celebrate any occasion.
I made an acetate card using this set to highlight one of the floral stems. I stamped and colored the main flower with copic markers and embossed two foliage stems over vellum with white embossing powder.
After attaching it over the acetate card front, I also framed the card with a gold frame. I also embossed a sentiment. To finish, I added a piece of patterned paper to the inside of the card. On the back side of the card is a piece of white paper for the recipient’s message.

My second card today is a card from the STAMPtember® release. It uses another large plant leaf stencil from Miriam Prantner. The Stromanthe stencil is another great stencil – when I use these plant stencils, I think of my 15 year old because he LOVES plants.
I ink-blended one leaf, then stenciled the other, masking off the lower right portion where it sits behind the first leaf. After ink-blending, I fussy-cut around the two leaves and splattered it with Distress Spritz in Peeled Paint and Worn Lipstick and dotted it with an R85 Copic marker.
I embossed a Basket Weave pattern on some pink cardstock for the background. To finish, I added sentiments from the Lovely set. I also embellished the card with some Northern Lights embellishments.
