Tim Holtz/Ranger has released 12 new Distress Spritz colors! lf you’ve never used them before, they’re a shimmer spray that complements the Distress color palette! They are different on white cardstock from black cardstock. You can see the difference in my swatches below for each color from this second set of colors
I used the Tim Holts/Sizzix Forest Shadows dies to add color with the new Distress Spritz colors and with recently released Distress Embossing Glazes to add texture and shine.
Colors used:
-Oxides: Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough, Antique Linen, Tumbled Glass, Uncharted Mariner
-Spritz: Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass, Prize Ribbon, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge
-Embossing Glazes: Dried Marigold, Frayed Burlap, Evergreen Bough
The background of the card panel is lightly ink-blended and then spritzed for texture. Each of the trees are ink-blended as well, spritzed, then glazed. There are lots of layers to mixed media and I did my best as I played with these and LOVE how it turned out.
I finished with an embossed sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Blessings set.
