Pink & Main – Holly Background

Hi friends!

I got to play with Pink & Main Cheerfoil this weekend and I have to say, I am sooooo impressed! There is so much foil on each roll, so it’s a lot of bang for your buck. It feels thick and durable, doesn’t scratch easily when you’re working with it, and it foils BEAUTIFULLY.

I used Tinsel Gold Cheerfoil over the Holly Backgrounds Foilables Sheets. The Holly Background Stencils coordinate with the foil sheets, so I ink-blended over the stencils to add color. I also foiled some Christmas Sentiments Foilables Cut Ups to use for a sentiment. I was really impressed with how these sentiments foiled, too!

I pieced together a Holly Branch and decided I needed a solid panel to help it stand out against the busy background. I cut a piece of red cardstock and rounded the corners with a Crop-a-dile Corner Chomper. To give this panel more interest, I used a gold pen to add faux-stitching. I adhered my holly branch and added some faux splatters as well. To finish, I attached the Christmas Sentiment with foam squares.
