Today’s Festive Fun card features gingerbread men and is a two-fer! You have cute gingerbread man card using the Gingerbread Man embossing folder with a felt stitched Gingerbread Man.

To make the background, I used the Emboss and Cut Gingerbread Man. I used the little die to die-cut a stencil – it fits perfectly over the embossed gingerbread men so that you can isolate and ink-blend each on your panel. I ink-blended these gingerbread men with the new Ink Trio 29 Inks (Cookie, Gingerbread, and Cocoa inks). After ink-blending, I used Copic markers to color the eyes and buttons (100), blush (R30), bows (R30), and pink collars (RV13). For the swirly icing lines and mouth, I used a white Posca paint pen to go over the embossed areas. DETAILS!

I stitched the Stitched Gingerbread Man using brown felt. I also die-cut his face, bow, buttons, and icing using felt. After I stitched him together, I used hot glue to attach the details. I added string to his head so he can be used as an ornament. I simply secured him to the back of my top-folded card using some washi tape so it’s clear to the recipient that it can be removed.

To finish, I embossed a sentiment from the Home for Christmas set and embellished the card with a few Dazzling Gems from the Metallic Tones mix.
