I’m sharing two cards today using the Simon Says Stamp December 2024 Card Kit. This first one was me thinking “outside the box” to create something that included a few different products from the card kit. It’s so fun!

I used the foliage and berries from the Warmest Wishes stamp set from the kit. The background uses the Snowflakes Adhesive Transfers and Sparkling Silver Embossing Powder.
The adorable little mittens are from the Bundled Up embossing folder and die set. I ink-blended a panel in rainbow colors (Cranberry, Pearfection, Kale, Bubblegum, Amethyst, Peony, Melon, Seafoam, Ocean, Marine) and used it to die-cut the mittens to get the pretty range of colors across the panel. Then I placed the little mittens inside the embossing folder and embossed them with the fun patterns.
After attaching the mittens with foam squares, I used a black liner pen to draw lines from the mittens to the foliage canopy above. Using a T-ruler helped make my lines straight across the panel. I used my Posca White Paint Pen to color the embossed areas on the mittens. For the sentiment, I embossed a sentiment from the Warmest Wishes set over the rainbow panel I ink-blended and used for the mittens. I used some natural twine to give it another special element to finish my card.
This second card is one I created the the Simon Says Stamp social media reel. I used more images from the Warmest Wishes stamp set using the following ink colors: Pucker, Artichoke, Kale, Petunia, Flannel, Latte. The background again uses the Snowflakes Adhesive Transfers. I ink-blended it with Petunia ink for a muted purple background.
I used some silver thread to “hang” the ice skates.” After adhering the stamped images to the background, I simply stamped a sentiment with the same Petunia ink so it would all coordinate.
