Concord & 9th – Sentimental Florals and Fall Favors

Hello there!

I did a bit of crafting over the weekend using products from Concord & 9th August release. The Sentiment Florals Bundle is super easy to use and the Fall Favors Bundle just begged to be used. I wanted to make an apple for my daughter since school just started and I really wanted to make my son a snake plant since he loves plants.

I also love the Accordian (Birthday and Woodland Bundles), but that’s going to have to wait a few days – stay tuned! For now, I hope you’ll enjoy the projects I have to share!

FALL FAVORS:

Project sizes: Full box, with stem measures approximately 5” x 3.5” while the plant is about 6.5” x 3.5”

The apple created is straight forward. I die-cut with red cardstock and added a brown stem and green leaf.

My daughter is giving this to her teacher and filling it with some chocolate so I placed a bed of brown corrugated paper in there to create a soft nest.

For the snake plant, I used the larger leaf die to die-cut a yellow-green color to create a border for the center leaves/stems. My brain gets quite literal when I’m trying to recreate nature. It felt wrong not to have that yellow-green border like on real snake plant leaves. I did add a few on the outer edges without just to show a size variation. I also spent a lot of time filling the planter with 3 shades of stones.

I love how these projects can be displayed!
