Simon Says Stamp – March 2024 Card Kit

Hi there!

A new card kit from Simon Says Stamp is here! The Mix and Match Butterflies March 2024 Card Kit is very unique and versatile with the variety of products included.

My card today is grungy – which is very different for me! I felt inspired to distress the cardstock after ink-blending it with Distress Oxides and running the panel through the Dibble Tile Embossing Folder. I layered it with another piece of paper, ink-blended lightly. I used a Tim Holtz Paper Distresser to distress the edges. Next, I used apiece from Tim Holtz’s Idea-ology Transparent Things 2 and secured the layers together with a zig-zag pattern with my sewing machine.

Next, I embossed some hearts from the Mix and Match Butterflies stamp and die set over white and gold cardstock. I adhered them throughout. To add more interest, I added some natural twine, stamped and fussy-cut a sentiment, and added a few jewels from the card kit (Cool Tones Pawsitively Dazzling Gems).
