I’m excited to be a part of the Reverse Confetti Holiday Release Blog Hop today! September is a crazy busy month and I told myself I was only going to create one project, but I couldn’t help myself once I started creating so I hope you enjoy the three cards I’m sharing today!

I love this fall Pick of the Patch set! The images are just too cute and I couldn’t help but color all the critters to create my pumpkin patch scene. Once I die-cut all my images, I masked and created a simple background using Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks.

Purples:  BV0000, BV02, BV04
Blush:  R20
Browns:  [E50, E53, E34, E37], [E0000, E30, E31, E23, E27], [E41, E42, E43]
Teal:  BG70, BG72, BG75
Greens:  YG06, YG09
Yellows/Oranges:  Y13, Y15, Y38, YR16, YR27
Reds:  R22, R24, R27

To give my background interest, I sprayed it with some water droplets, then splattered it with some watered-down Vintage Photo ink. I adhered all of my images with Foam adhesive, then embossed my sentiment in white over black cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of my card, tucking it under the bottom most images.

My second card features the Lanterns and Lantern Additions sets. The additions set gives you different floral arrangements to decorate your lanterns with and I used the sentiment from that set on my card today. I colored the images with Copic markers and die-cut them out. The die cuts the window in the lantern, so I was able to ink-blend the glow using Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink.

Grays:  C1, C4, C6, C8

The lantern is adhered with foam adhesive with the bouquet adhered to it, then I adhered the candle inside against the card panel to give it some depth. To finish, I stamped my sentiment and matted it to a piece of dark red cardstock and embellished it with some clear droplets.

Last but not least, my favorite! The Peace Tree is a limited set being offered free on purchases more than $60. I stamped the tree trunk first using brown ink, then layered the top, middle, and bottom triangles to form the tree using three shades of green. Then I stamped and embossed what I think is garland at the bottom of each triangle using gold sparkle embossing powder.

The pom poms is a nice addition for some fun and something I learned from Laura Bassen! I stamped the sentiment and colored it simply with some green Copic markers (G40, G43, G46).
